Created as a commission for hip hop artist Future, this painting reimagines The Last Supper in a contemporary setting, transforming the traditional scene into a basketball court with Louis Vuitton inspired panels and personalized references connected to the artist.
The composition was developed using individual reference photographs for each person, with careful attention to their placement, appearance, and the details throughout the scene.
One of the main challenges was bringing these separate references into a cohesive composition. Differences in lighting, angles, and perspective required careful adjustments to create a natural sense of unity while maintaining recognizable likenesses.
The result combines realistic portraiture, intricate details, and storytelling to bring a highly personalized creative vision to life.
